{"data":{"id":"us/29-cfr-1928.21","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"29 CFR 1928.21","heading":"Applicable standards in 29 CFR part 1910.","body":"(a) The following standards in part 1910 of this chapter shall apply to agricultural operations:\n(1) Temporary labor camps—§ 1910.142;\n(2) Storage and handling of anhydrous ammonia—§ 1910.111 (a) and (b);\n(3) Logging operations—§ 1910.266;\n(4) Slow-moving vehicles—§ 1910.145;\n(5) Hazard communication—§ 1910.1200;\n(6) Cadmium—§ 1910.1027.\n(7) Retention of DOT markings, placards and labels—§ 1910.1201.\n(8) COVID-19—§ 1910.501, but only with respect to—\n(i) Agricultural establishments where eleven (11) or more employees are engaged on any given day in hand-labor operations in the field; and\n(ii) Agricultural establishments that maintain a temporary labor camp, regardless of how many employees are engaged on any given day in hand-labor operations in the field.\n(b) Except to the extent specified in paragraph (a) of this section, the standards contained in subparts B through T and subpart Z of part 1910 of this title do not apply to agricultural operations.","path":["Title 29—Labor","Subtitle B—Regulations Relating to Labor","CHAPTER XVII—OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION, DEPARTMENT OF LABOR","PART 1928—OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS FOR AGRICULTURE","Subpart B—Applicability of Standards"],"source_url":"https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-08-25/title-29.xml","current_through":"2026-08-25","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:25:20Z","sha256":"e8ea6bc14e6840a7a4aaa10a5afc27525d9f578b9ce6f725889712a04605c050","source_id":"us-cfr","stale":true,"prev":"us/29-cfr-1928.1","next":"us/29-cfr-1928.51"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
