(8 in.).\n2 Inside diameter According to pipe outside diameter.\n3 Bolt circle diameter 183 mm. (7 3⁄16 in.).\n4 Slots in flange 6 holes 22 mm. (7⁄8 in.) in diameter shall be equidistantly placed on a bolt circle of the above diameter, slotted to the flange periphery. The slot width is to be 22 mm. (7⁄8 in.).\n5 Flange thickness 20 mm. (3⁄4 in.).\n6 Bolts and nuts 6, each of 20 mm. (3⁄4 in.) in diameter and of suitable length.\nThe flange must be of steel having a flat face, with a gasket of oilproof material, and must be suitable for a service pressure of 6 kg./cm.2 (85 p.s.i.).\nThe steel materials used must meet the material specifications of standard B16.5, Steel Pipe Flanges and Flanged Fittings of the American National Standards Institute.
