(1) Tolerances are established for emamectin, including its metabolites and degradates, in or on the commodities in the table below. Compliance with the tolerance levels specified below is to be determined by measuring only the sum of emamectin (a mixture of a minimum of 90% 4′-epi-methylamino-4′-deoxyavermectin B1a and maximum of 10% 4′-epi-methylamino-4′-deoxyavermectin B1b) and its metabolites 8,9-isomer of the B1a and B1b component of the parent (8,9-ZMA), or 4′-deoxy-4′-epi-amino-avermectin B1a and 4'-deoxy-4′-epi-amino-avermectin B1b; 4′-deoxy-4′-epi-amino avermectin B1a (AB1a); 4′-deoxy-4′-epi-(N-formyl-N-methyl)amino-avermectin (MFB1a); and 4′-deoxy-4′-epi-(N-formyl)amino-avermectin B1a (FAB1a), calculated as the stoichiometric equivalent of emamectin.\nTable 1 to Paragraph (a)(1)\nCommodity Parts per million\nAlmond, hulls 0.20\nApple, wet pomace 0.075\nArtichoke, globe 0.05\nBrassica, leafy greens, subgroup 4-16B 0.2\nCeltuce 0.1\nCherry subgroup 12-12A 0.09\nCotton, gin byproducts 0.050\nCotton, undelinted seed 0.025\nFennel, florence, fresh leaves and stalk 0.1\nFruit, pome, group 11-10 0.02\nGrape, wine 1 0.03\nHerb subgroup 19A 0.4\nKohlrabi 0.05\nLeaf petiole vegetable subgroup 22B 0.1\nLeafy greens subgroup 4-16A 1\nNut, tree, group 14-12 0.02\nSoybean, seed 0.01\nTea, dried 2 0.5\nTea, instant 2 0.5\nTomato, paste 0.150\nVegetable, brassica, head and stem, group 5-16 0.05\nVegetable, cucurbit, group 9 0.02\nVegetable, fruiting, group 8-10 0.02\n1 There are no U.S. registrations for use of emamectin on grape, wine.\n2 Emamectin benzoate has not been registered for use in the United States as of February 17, 2021.\n(2) Tolerances are established for emamectin, including its metabolites and degradates, in or on the commodities in the following table.
