{"data":{"id":"us/40-cfr-60.6000","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"40 CFR 60.6000","heading":"How do I monitor the temperature of flue gases at the inlet of my particulate matter control device?","body":"(a) You must install, calibrate, maintain, and operate a device to continuously measure the temperature of the flue gas stream at the inlet of each particulate matter control device.\n(b) Calculate the temperature of the flue gas stream in 4-hour block arithmetic averages.\n(c) Determine the maximum demonstrated particulate matter control device temperature for each particulate matter control device during the initial performance test for dioxins/furans and each subsequent performance test specified in § 60.5970 during which you achieve compliance with the dioxins/furans emission limit. The maximum demonstrated particulate matter control device temperature is the highest 4-hour arithmetic average temperature achieved at the particulate matter control device inlet during four consecutive hours during the most recent test.
