(1) The chemical substance identified generically as trivalent chromium complexes of a substituted beta-naphthol amine azo dye (PMNs P-09-152 and P-09-153) are subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in paragraph (a)(2) of this section.\n(2) The significant new uses are:\n(i) Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities. Requirements as specified in § 721.80(f) and (j) (acid dye for coloring anodized aluminum). Also, requirements as specified in § 721.80(v)(1), (v)(2), (w)(1), (w)(2), (x)(1), and (x)(2), except that importing, processing, and use of the PMN substance in the form of a wet press cake containing greater than 30 percent water does not require submission of a SNUN.\n(ii) [Reserved]\n(b) Specific requirements. The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph.\n(1) Recordkeeping. Recordkeeping requirements as specified in § 721.125(a), (b), (c), and (i) are applicable to manufacturers, importers, and processors of this substance.\n(2) Limitations or revocation of certain notification requirements.
