Note that inclusion of a component in Section III of this Appendix does not make it an emission-related component for engines/equipment that are not subject to evaporative emission standards.\nI. For exhaust emissions, emission-related components include any engine parts related to the following systems:\n1. Air-induction system.\n2. Fuel system.\n3. Ignition system.\n4. Exhaust gas recirculation systems.\nII. The following parts are also considered emission-related components for exhaust emissions:\n1. Aftertreatment devices.\n2. Crankcase ventilation valves.\n3. Sensors.\n4. Electronic control units.\nIII. The following parts are considered emission-related components for evaporative emissions:\n1. Fuel Tank.\n2. Fuel Cap.\n3. Fuel Line.\n4. Fuel Line Fittings.\n5. Clamps*.\n6. Pressure Relief Valves*.\n7. Control Valves*.\n8. Control Solenoids*.\n9. Electronic Controls*.\n10. Vacuum Control Diaphragms*.\n11. Control Cables*.\n12. Control Linkages*.\n13. Purge Valves.\n14. Vapor Hoses.\n15. Liquid/Vapor Separator.\n16. Carbon Canister.\n17. Canister Mounting Brackets.\n18. Carburetor Purge Port Connector.\n*As related to the evaporative emission control system.\nIV.
