Indurating furnaces constructed or reconstructed before May 15, 2023 Either: (1) Mercury emissions from each furnace must not exceed 1.4 × 10−5 lb/LT of taconite pellets produced, or (2) Production-weighted average mercury emissions for a group of indurating furnaces, calculated according to Equation 6 in § 63.9634(m)(3), must not exceed 1.3 × 10−5 lb/LT.\n2.
