Determine heat content of the fuel type ASTM D5865 a (for coal) or ASTM E711 a (for biomass) or equivalent.\ne. Determine moisture content of the fuel type ASTM D3173 a or ASTM E871 a or equivalent.\nf. Measure mercury concentration in fuel sample ASTM D6722 a (for coal) or EPA SW-846-7471B a (for solid samples) or EPA SW-846-7470A a (for liquid samples) or equivalent.\ng.
