In that case, the contract, regardless of the amount, always is a covered transaction, and it does not matter who awarded it. For example, it could be a subcontract awarded by a contractor at a tier below a nonprocurement transaction, as shown in the appendix to this part.\n(3) The contract is for federally-required audit services.","path":["Title 41—Public Contracts and Property Management","Subtitle C—Federal Property Management Regulations System","CHAPTER 105—GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION","PART 105-68—GOVERNMENTWIDE DEBARMENT AND SUSPENSION (NONPROCUREMENT)","Subpart B—Covered Transactions"],"source_url":"https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-08-25/title-41.xml","current_through":"2026-08-25","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:26:05Z","sha256":"dc615c968046c5f09a3741267142b2d3ebcd1380b155fd2f5d4125ed7efed454","source_id":"us-cfr","stale":true,"prev":"us/41-cfr-105-68.215","next":"us/41-cfr-105-68.225"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
