The instantaneous flow rates must meet the criteria in § 3175.141(d) for each test identified in Table 1 to this section, using the gas compositions identified in Table 2 to this section, as prescribed in Table 1 to this section.\n(b) Sums and averages. (1) Fixed input values from test 2 in Table 1 to this section must be applied for a period of at least 24 hours.\n(2) At the conclusion of the 24-hour period, the following hourly and daily values must meet the criteria in § 3175.141(d):\n(i) Volume;\n(ii) Integral value;\n(iii) Flow time;\n(iv) Average differential pressure;\n(v) Average static pressure; and\n(vi) Average flowing temperature.\n(c) Other tests. The following additional tests must be performed on the flow-computer software:\n(1) Each parameter of the configuration log must be changed to ensure the event log properly records the changes according to the variables listed in § 3175.104(c); and\n(2) Inputs simulating a 15 percent and 150 percent over-range of the differential and static-pressure transducer's calibrated span must be entered to verify that the over-range condition triggers an alarm or an entry in the event log.","path":["Title 43—Public Lands: Interior","Subtitle B—Regulations Relating to Public Lands","CHAPTER II—BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR","SUBCHAPTER C—MINERALS MANAGEMENT (3000)","PART 3170—ONSHORE OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION","Subpart 3175—Measurement of Gas"],"source_url":"https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-08-25/title-43.xml","current_through":"2026-08-25","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:26:15Z","sha256":"f84a18e07f2fb09eec07ada85e50399d34eb13e626cc09a00dec29fb8597622b","source_id":"us-cfr","stale":true,"prev":"us/43-cfr-3175.141","next":"us/43-cfr-3175.143"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
