The provisions of this part implement section 3001(c)(9) of the Public Health Service Act.\n(b) Purpose. The purpose of this part is to:\n(1) Ensure full network-to-network exchange of health information; and\n(2) Establish a voluntary process for a Qualified Health Information Network TM (QHIN TM) to attest to adoption of the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement TM (TEFCA TM).\n(c) Scope.
