NSF may conduct these reviews even in the absence of a complaint against a recipient. The review may be as comprehensive as necessary to determine whether a violation of the Act has occurred.\n(b) If a compliance review indicates a violation of the Act, NSF will attempt to achieve voluntary compliance with the Act.
