{"data":{"id":"us/46-cfr-164.018-7","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"46 CFR 164.018-7","heading":"-7 Approval procedures.","body":"(a) An application for approval of retroreflective material must be submitted to the Commandant (CG-ENG) according to § 159.005-1 of this subchapter.\n(b) Each application for approval must contain—(1) The name and address of the applicant;\n(2) Plans or specifications of the material;\n(3) A detailed description of the quality control procedures used in manufacturing the material; and\n(4) A test report containing observations and results of approval testing conducted.\n(c) The Commandant advises the applicant whether the retroreflective material is approved.
