{"data":{"id":"us/46-cfr-169.819","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"46 CFR 169.819","heading":"Manning of lifeboats and liferafts.","body":"(a) The provisions of this section shall apply to all vessels equipped with lifeboats and/or liferafts.\n(b) The master shall place a licensed deck officer, an able seaman, or a certificated lifeboatman in command of each lifeboat or liferaft.
