{"data":{"id":"us/47-cfr-101.1005","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"47 CFR 101.1005","heading":"Frequencies available.","body":"(a) The following frequencies are available for assignment to LMDS in two license blocks:\nBlock A of 300 MHz\n29,100-29,250 MHz\n31,075-31,225 MHz\nBlock B of 150 MHz\n31,000-31,075 MHz\n31,225-31,300 MHz\n(b) In Block A licenses, the frequencies are authorized as follows:\n(1) 29,100-29,250 MHz is shared on a co-primary basis with feeder links for non-geostationary orbit Mobile Satellite Service (NGSO/MSS) systems in the band and is limited to LMDS hub-to-subscriber transmissions, as provided in §§ 25.257 and 101.103(h) of this chapter.\n(2) 31,075-31,225 MHz is authorized on a primary protected basis and is shared with private microwave point-to-point systems licensed prior to March 11, 1997, as provided in § 101.103(b).\n(c) In Block B licenses, the frequencies are authorized as follows:\n(1) On a primary protected basis if LMDS shares the frequencies with systems licensed as Local Television Transmission Service (LTTS) licensed prior to March 11, 1997, as provided in § 101.103(b).\n(2) On a co-equal basis with systems not licensed as LTTS prior to March 11, 1997, as provided in § 101.103(g).","path":["Title 47—Telecommunication","CHAPTER I—FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION","SUBCHAPTER D—SAFETY AND SPECIAL RADIO SERVICES","PART 101—FIXED MICROWAVE SERVICES","Subpart L—Local Multipoint Distribution Service"],"source_url":"https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-08-25/title-47.xml","current_through":"2026-08-25","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:26:28Z","sha256":"5355438cdc51f97a49f0cd9b8624e64f283d5eecbc96ff9555beecb71f4c68bb","source_id":"us-cfr","stale":true,"prev":"us/47-cfr-101.1001","next":"us/47-cfr-101.1007"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
