{"data":{"id":"us/54-u.s.c.-303903","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"54 U.S.C. § 303903","heading":"Preservation education and training program","body":"The Secretary, in consultation with the Council and other appropriate Federal, tribal, Native Hawaiian, and non-Federal organizations, shall develop and implement a comprehensive preservation education and training program. The program shall include—(1) standards and increased preservation training opportunities for Federal workers involved in preservation-related functions; (2) preservation training opportunities for other Federal, State, tribal and local government workers, and students; (3) technical or financial assistance, or both, to historically black colleges and universities, to tribal colleges, and to colleges with a high enrollment of Native Americans or Native Hawaiians, to establish preservation training and degree programs; and (4) where appropriate, coordination with the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training of—(A) distribution of information on preservation technologies; (B) provision of training and skill development in trades, crafts, and disciplines related to historic preservation in Federal training and development programs; and (C) support for research, analysis, conservation, curation, interpretation, and display related to preservation.","path":["Title 54—NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AND RELATED PROGRAMS","CHAPTER 3039—MISCELLANEOUS"],"source_url":"https://uscode.house.gov/download/releasepoints/us/pl/119/103/xml_usc54@119-103.zip","current_through":"Public Law 119-103 (09/02/2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-10T06:01:34Z","sha256":"92c5aac0f21f40d2b4571c4eef8f8c1c1628fe530825661037dafec11c016558","source_id":"us","stale":true,"prev":"us/54-u.s.c.-303902","next":"us/54-u.s.c.-304101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
