Ala. Code § 45-42-122: Applicability.

This part shall apply to and have application in Limestone County, Alabama, to all regular full-time employees whose wages, salaries, and benefits are provided from the general fund and other designated and special funds under the management and administration of the board of county commissioners, including regular full-time employees of the sheriff’s department, tax assessor’s office, tax collector’s office, and judge of probate’s office.
