Ala. Code § 45-43-170: Solid Waste Disposal - Applicability.

(a) Any law to the contrary notwithstanding, in addition to any and all other provisions of law or parts of law, relating to solid waste disposal programs, this article shall also be applicable in Lowndes County, in order to preserve the health, safety, and welfare of its people.

(b) This article shall be cumulative to any and all other provisions of law relating to solid waste disposal programs and services except to the extent there is a direct conflict herewith.
