In addition to the amount paid by the state to members of the Madison County Board of Registrars, the county commission shall be authorized to provide for an additional amount to be paid by the county general fund. The additional amount shall be within the discretion of the commission, and the commission shall adopt a formal resolution each time the additional county supplement is changed.
