Ala. Code § 45-45-121.05: Suspension Without Pay.

Any employee covered by this part shall be subject to suspension without pay by the appointing authority without right of appeal pursuant to this part, provided any unpaid suspension may not exceed a total of 15 working days. Any unpaid suspension exceeding 15 working days shall be subject to a right of appeal by the employee pursuant to Section 45-45-121.06.
