Ala. Code § 45-45-233.22: Failure to Report to Jail.

Any person released under Section 45-45-233.20, or ordered confined under Section 45-45-233.21, who wilfully fails to report for confinement as ordered shall be deemed to have escaped from the institution to which he or she has been sentenced and, upon conviction, shall be subject to the punishment provided for escape therefrom.
