Ala. Code § 45-49-160.01: Interest Earned Form Deposit of Certain Funds.

Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any and all interest earned from deposits of funds made by the tax collector, license commissioner, county treasurer, or any other county officer collecting county funds shall be deposited into the county general fund prior to September 30th of each year.
