Ala. Code § 45-49-171.69: Issuance of Subpoenas.

While investigating a death hereunder, the county medical examiner or the Director of the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences is authorized to issue subpoenas for the production of medical documents, radiographs, tis- sues, or fluids as may be required by the investigation.
