Ala. Code § 45-49A-63.40: Period of Service.

Except as otherwise provided in this part, a member’s service shall be his or her period of service as a uniformed officer as determined in accordance with the Mobile County Personnel Board rules. Service performed other than as a uniformed officer shall not be included in a member’s service except as provided in Section 45-49A-63.41.
