Ala. Code § 45-52-84.20: Retention of Records.

It shall not be necessary for the Judge of Probate or the License Commissioner of Morgan County to retain on file the records of fishing, hunting, and trapping licenses, boat registrations, drivers’ licenses, and vehicle tag receipts for longer than five years from the date of issuance or renewal of such licenses.
