Ala. Code § 45-52A-35.02: Municipal Utilities Board - Qualification of Members.

No person shall be eligible for membership on the board who is not a qualified elector of the City of Decatur, or who is an officer of the city, or an employee thereof or is a member of the governing body of the city, or the term for which he or she was elected on the governing body has expired within six months prior to his or her election to the board.
