Ala. Code § 45-52A-35.14: Municipal Utilities Board - Expenditures for Construction or Additions.

No expenditures for property to be acquired and for any new construction, additions, or replacement to any public utility, or the equipment used by the same, shall be made by the board where the total expense will be more than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) without the consent and approval of the City Council of the City of Decatur.
