Ala. Code § 45-53-71: Chair - Expense Allowance.

In Perry County, the chair of the county commission is entitled to receive an expense allowance in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000) per year. The expense allowance provided by this section shall be in addition to any and all other compensation and expense allowances heretofore provided by law and shall be payable in equal monthly installments out of the county general fund.
