Ala. Code § 45-58-232.22: Reimbursement.

The reimbursement and any funds secured under this subpart shall be credited to the General Fund of Shelby County, if collected by Shelby County, and to the general fund of any municipality making the collections, after the deduction of all reasonably necessary expenses incurred in connection with the collection thereof, the funds to be available for general fund purposes.
