Ala. Code § 45-58-30: Establishment of Public Library Service Districts Authorized.

Any area situated entirely within Shelby County may be established as a district for providing public library service in the manner hereinafter provided for; provided, however, no land lying within the boundaries of a municipality or an existing library district at the time of the election shall be included in a district.
