Ala. Code § 45-58-30.04: Notice of Election.

Notice of any election held under this part shall be given by publishing for three weeks at least once a week, on the same day of each week, in a newspaper of general circulation in the county where the election is to be held, that on the day fixed for the election the questions to be then voted on will be submitted to the qualified electors residing in the district or proposed district.
