Ala. Code § 45-58-83.22: Salary Supplement.

(a) Commencing with the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1997, in lieu of any other fees or expense allowances, the Judge of Probate of Shelby County shall receive a salary supplement in the amount of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) payable in equal monthly installments in the same manner as county employees are paid.

(b) The salary supplement in subsection (a) shall be increased by the same percentage as the across-the-board increase received by full-time county employees at the same time as the increase is received by the county employees.
