Ala. Code § 9-2-44: Approval of Division of Construction Management of the Department of Finance Not Required as to Certain Contracts; Compliance with State Building Code.

All construction or modification contracts as specified in this article which may hereafter be made are excepted from approval by the Division of Construction Management of the Department of Finance with the exception of buildings erected by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources that exceed in cost the sum of $15,000.00; provided, however, that all such construction or modifications must comply with the state building code.
