(a) Cities of the first and second class are authorized to establish zones limiting the character of buildings that may be erected therein. (b) Zones may be of three (3) classes: (1) Portions of the city where manufacturing establishments may be erected or conducted; (2) Portions of the city where business other than manufacturing may be carried on; and (3) Portions of the city set apart for residences.
