Ark. Code Ann. § 16-17-1003: Duties of the District Court Resource Assessment Board

The District Court Resource Assessment Board shall recommend to the General Assembly at each regular session: (1) Criteria for the creation and placement of full-time, state-funded district court judgeships; (2) Revisions of current district court judgeships or the redistricting of the district court districts of this state after considering: (A) The caseload and the geographic area of the district court district; (B) The November 25, 2002, per curiam opinion of the Supreme Court; and (C) Any other matter the board determines to be appropriate; and (3) The number and placement of full-time, state-funded district court judgeships.
