Ark. Code Ann. § 16-17-916: Ouachita County District Courts

(a) Ouachita County shall have the following district courts and judges: (1) Camden shall have: (A) One (1) district court; and (B) One (1) judge; and (2) (A) East Camden shall have one (1) district court with four (4) departments: (i) One (1) located in Bearden; (ii) One (1) located in Chidester; (iii) One (1) located in East Camden; and (iv) One (1) located in Stephens. (B) All four (4) departments are to be served by one (1) judge. (b) (1) The judge of the Camden District Court shall be elected countywide. (2) The Camden District Court shall have countywide jurisdiction. (c) (1) The judge of the East Camden District Court shall be elected countywide. (A) East Camden shall have one (1) district court with four (4) departments: (i) One (1) located in Bearden; (ii) One (1) located in Chidester; (iii) One (1) located in East Camden; and (iv) One (1) located in Stephens.

(i) One (1) located in Bearden;

(ii) One (1) located in Chidester;

(iii) One (1) located in East Camden; and

(iv) One (1) located in Stephens.

(B) All four (4) departments are to be served by one (1) judge.

(b) (1) The judge of the Camden District Court shall be elected countywide. (2) The Camden District Court shall have countywide jurisdiction.

(1) The judge of the Camden District Court shall be elected countywide.

(2) The Camden District Court shall have countywide jurisdiction.

(c) (1) The judge of the East Camden District Court shall be elected countywide. (2) The East Camden District Court shall have countywide jurisdiction.

(2) The East Camden District Court shall have countywide jurisdiction.
