(a) (1) An electrology course established by a school of cosmetology shall consist of three hundred fifty (350) hours or six hundred (600) hours of practical training and technical instruction that shall extend over a period of not less than two (2) months for a three-hundred-fifty-hour course and four (4) months for a six-hundred-hour course. (2) In no event shall the training extend over a period of more than six (6) months from the date of initial enrollment.
