(a) An applicant for an HVACR license must meet the following minimum requirements. The applicant must: (1) Be an individual of at least eighteen (18) years of age; (2) Make application to the Department of Labor and Licensing on forms prescribed by the HVACR Licensing Board; (3) Specify the class of license desired; (4) Meet all requirements specified by rule promulgated by the board; (5) Pay the appropriate examination and license fees required by the board; and (6) Pass the appropriate examinations specified by the board. (b) An applicant who fails an examination is eligible for reexamination. Amended by Act 2023, No. 270,§ 5, eff. 8/1/2023. Acts 1991, No. 277, § 8; 1997, No. 344, § 2.
