Ark. Code Ann. § 17-38-403: State Plumbing Apprenticeship Committee

(a) The Career Education and Workforce Development Board shall appoint a State Plumbing Apprenticeship Committee consisting of seven (7) voting members as follows: (1) Two (2) shall be Arkansas state-licensed journeyman plumbers; (2) One (1) shall be a citizen member; and (3) Four (4) shall be Arkansas state-licensed master plumbers. (b) One (1) of the voting members shall be appointed from each congressional district, and three (3) of the voting members shall be appointed from the state at large. (c) The Director of the Office of Skills Development or his or her designee shall serve as a nonvoting advisory member to the State Plumbing Apprenticeship Committee. (d) Voting members shall serve four-year terms. (e) The members of the State Plumbing Apprenticeship Committee may receive expense reimbursement in accordance with § 25-16-901 et seq. (f) The board shall prescribe State Plumbing Apprenticeship Committee members' qualifications and prescribe their duties. (g) The board may remove a member for cause.
