(a) The Arkansas State Claims Commission may appoint a special master with specialized knowledge and skill to assist the commission in achieving a more timely resolution of complex litigation arising from a claim or action. (b) (1) All or part of a special master's findings may be included as part of or in addition to a commission's final order. (2) The special master's findings, if disputed by a party, may be raised on appeal. Amended by Act 2019, No. 785,§ 2, eff. 7/24/2019.
