(a) Any landowner or any person having control of any land in a Johnson grass control and eradication district who fails or refuses to control or eradicate Johnson grass on his or her lands shall be guilty of a violation. (b) (1) Upon conviction, an offender shall be subject to a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100) for each violation. (2) Each day a violation shall exist or continue shall constitute a separate offense. Acts 1967, No. 186, § 8; 1975, No. 287, § 8; A.S.A. 1947, § 77-1708; Acts 2005, No. 1994, § 9.
