Ark. Code Ann. § 20-16-102: Authorization to distribute organ and tissue donation information for a fatal fetal diagnosis

(a) A physician may distribute information regarding organ and tissue donation to a pregnant woman when the unborn fetus is diagnosed with a fatal fetal condition which will result in death within three (3) months of birth. (b) The information shall include: (1) The telephone number, address, and website information for the Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency, Inc.; and (2) The steps in the process of organ and tissue donation. (c) The physician shall document in writing that the information has been distributed to the pregnant woman. Added by Act 2015, No. 823,§ 1, eff. 7/22/2015.
