Ark. Code Ann. § 25-43-808: Additional compensation - County health unit administrators

(a) Any employee serving in the capacity of county health unit administrator shall be eligible for up to ten percent (10%) of additional compensation within the grade during the period of time in which the employee occupies the position. (b) Employees on the highest level of their grade shall be eligible for additional compensation in an amount not to exceed five and five-tenths percent (5.5%) of their current salary upon assuming responsibility, and this amount shall not be construed as exceeding the line item maximum for the grade for that position. (c) (1) The Department of Health shall certify to the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State the assignment of duties of each employee in this position, the length of the assignment, and the location and reason for the assignment. (2) The Chief Fiscal Officer of the State shall approve the request prior to the awarding of additional compensation. Added by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 4828, eff. 7/1/2019.
