Ark. Code Ann. § 27-24-906: License plate options

A motor vehicle owner applying for a special license plate under this subchapter may: (1) Have a license plate assigned by the Department of Finance and Administration as provided by law; or (2) (A) Apply for a special personalized prestige license plate pursuant to §§ 27-14-1101 and 27-14-1102 . (B) However, the use of letters and numbers on a personalized prestige license plate shall be limited to the rules of the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration.
