(a) A person commits an offense under this section if he or she knowingly aids another person by: (1) Safeguarding or securing the proceeds of an offense; or (2) Converting the proceeds of an offense into negotiable funds. (b) (1) A person violating any provision of this section is guilty of a Class D felony if the conduct of the person aided in violation of this section constitutes a felony of any class. (2) Otherwise, a violation of this section is a Class A misdemeanor. Acts 1975, No. 280, § 2806; A.S.A. 1947, § 41-2806.
