C.R.S. § 1-6-106: Confirmation and acceptance of election judge appointment.

(1) The designated election official shall confirm the appointments of election judges by sending each appointed election judge a notice of appointment in accordance with subsection (2) of this section.

(2) The notice of appointment shall specify the method of acceptance for the appointment as determined by the designated election official and shall contain:

(a) The statement of qualifications as prescribed in section 1-6-101; and

(b) A statement that, if the person appointed as an election judge either fails to accept the appointment within seven days after the notice of appointment is sent or fails to attend a class of instruction as required in section 1-6-101 (5), the designated election official may determine that a vacancy has been created.

(3) Each person appointed as an election judge shall accept the appointment in the manner specified by the designated election official within seven days after the notice of appointment has been sent. If a person appointed as an election judge fails to accept the appointment as described in subsection (2) of this section or fails to attend a class of instruction as required in section 1-6-101 (5), the designated election official may determine that a vacancy has been created.
