C.R.S. § 22-29.5-107: Physical accessibility - definition.

No qualified student with a disability may be denied the benefits of, be excluded from participation in, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination under a local education provider's programs or activities because the local education provider's facilities are inaccessible to or cannot be accessed safely by persons with disabilities. In implementing this section, local education providers may refer to the section 504 regulations at subpart C, the ADA regulations at subpart D, and accessibility standards such as the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards, the 1991 ADA standards for accessible design, and the 2010 ADA standards for accessible design.
