C.R.S. § 24-48.5-702: Legislative declaration.

(1) The general assembly finds and declares that:

(a) This part 7 is intended to strengthen regional talent development pipelines to meet workforce demand;

(b) The state has an opportunity to fulfill demand for workers, which will allow the state to meet its strategic goals and generate high-quality careers; and

(c) The grant program and related services described in this part 7 are important government services.

(2) Therefore, the general assembly creates the regional talent summit grant program to address these needs.
