C.R.S. § 25-60-103: Definitions.

As used in this article 60, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1) "Death certification professional" means a coroner, medical examiner, forensic pathologist, or other qualified individual who determines the cause of death and completes the medical certification for a certificate of death in accordance with section 25-2-110.

(2) "Department" means the department of public health and environment created in section 25-1-102 (1).
