(1) Appellate review of any order for protective placement or enhanced protective placement may be had as provided in the Colorado appellate rules. An appeal must be advanced upon the calendar of the appellate court and must be decided at the earliest practicable time. Pending disposition by the appellate court, the court may make such order as the court may consider proper in the premises relating to the care and custody of the respondent.
(2) A respondent subject to an order for protective placement or enhanced protective placement shall be advised of the respondent's right to appeal the order by the court at the conclusion of any hearing, and, as a result, the order may be entered.
